  • Combination of optical (OPC) and electrical (nanosizer) particle detection - One combined data set
  • Intelligent Li-ion battery for portable use up to 10 hours
  • Flexible data acquisition and communication with USB flash drive, Bluetooth and MiniWRAS software
  • Particle free purge air for improving detection and reducing signal noise

The compact MiniWRAS is the only portable instrument on the market that allows simultaneous and precise real-time monitoring of both micron-sized and nanoparticles. Designed and specifically built for indoor air quality monitoring, the MiniWRAS is a fit for purpose, state-of-the-art system that combines optical and electrical particle detection in one single device.

Applications include nanoparticle and PM monitoring (e.g. PM₂.₅), monitoring Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in buildings, IAQ in vehicles, aeroplane cabins, cockpits, buses, and trains, nanoparticle source identification, workplace monitoring, and R&D testing in industry.

How it works

The Mini Wide-Range Aerosol Spectrometer uses a simple laser scatter detection module to detect particles from 0.253 – 35 µm, plus a Faraday Cup Electrometer (FCE) to detect nanoparticles (10 – 193 nm). The FCE is much smaller than a CPC/SMPS+C and does not require a supply of butanol, making it the better choice for portable nanoparticle instruments like the 1371 MiniWRAS.
