How it works

The LGR-ICOS™ GLA231-EAA Enhanced Performance Rackmount Ammonia Analyser is a high-performance rackmount analyser that is optimised for precision, accuracy, response time, and reliability. It is simple to use, requires no field calibration, starts up in minutes and needs minimal preventative maintenance. These features make the GLA231-EAA idea to monitor working areas for health and safety purposes or for overseeing critical industrial processes where maintaining product quality is important.

The LGR-ICOS gas analysers build on the heritage and proven track record of Los Gatos Research analysers, incorporating patented Off-Axis Integrated Cavity Output Spectroscopy (OA-ICOS) Technology. This is the latest advancement in tuneable diode laser absorption technology.

The GLA231-EAA Performance Rackmount Ammonia and Water Vapour Analyser uses patented Off-Axis Integrated Cavity Output Spectroscopy (OA-ICOS) technology, representing a fourth-generation advancement in cavity enhanced absorption techniques. This technology offers numerous advantages over traditional cavity ring-down spectroscopy methods, including enhanced robustness, reliability, shorter measurement times, and field-serviceable cavity and mirrors.

The analyser includes an internal computer to store results and related metrics of each analysis on its internal hard drive, ideal for unattended long-term operation. Data can be continuously exported through analog, digital (RS232), and Modbus outputs. The analyser may be controlled remotely via the internet, which facilitates convenient access for monitoring, data retrieval and diagnostics enabling off-site management. Complete spectra of the gases measured can be saved for extended troubleshooting and even allowing remote optimisation of analysers in response to unforeseen process changes.
