How it works
The Met One Instruments All-In-One Weather Sensor AIO 2 is a complete, high-performance weather sensor. It is a next-generation weather instrument that measures temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and barometric pressure in a single compact, rugged unit.
The AIO 2 Sonic Weather Sensor uses Met One Instrument’s proven 2D sonic technology for wind speed and direction measurements, which provides reference-grade accuracy without any moving parts.
A built-in compass ensures automatic magnetic north alignment of the wind sensor and both the temperature and humidity elements are integrated into an IP65 sealed module which is easy to calibrate when in the field. The pressure element is precisely calibrated and temperature compensated for accurate results.
The AIO Weather Sensor can also accept data from a tipping bucket rain gauge and a compatible solar radiation sensor, or both.
Accessories that work with the AIO 2 include:
- 10600 USB and power interface
- WeatherView software for real-time weather display and data recording on a PC
- Universal mounting hardware
- WMO compliant external tipping bucket rain gauge which connects simply and allows for proper installation according to industry guidelines.
- Solar radiation sensors that are easily connected and integrate into the AIO 2 data record.
