Alan develops applications and software and provides expert technical remote support for ET supplied instruments.
Currently ET’s Senior Technical Support Engineer, Alan started at ET on an apprenticeship immediately following his education at the age of 16. Accumulating extensive experience over the years , he now has overall responsibility for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for customers. In addition, Alan develops apps and in-house software for our lone working, point of work risk assessments and deep-delve instrument diagnostics.
Alan works with our Apprentice TSE (Technical Support Engineer) to make sure required support is given as quickly as possible in emergency situations. Both of ET’s TSE’s engage in cross-departmental coordination to effectively manage customer expectations and enhance satisfaction.
